1- Goals of the teacher in GTM
Teachers should teach reading literature written in L2, grammar rules and
vocabulary to develop students minds by mental exerccises.
2- Teachers’ and students roles:
Teacher is authority in the class.
3- Caracteristics of teaching/learning proccess.
- translation from one language into another (often written texts about
some aspects of the culture of L2 community).
- Students study grammar deductively. (Önce grammar verilir, öğrenciler
ezberler ve sonra da soru sorulur.)
